Nikon coolpix Lens Error Help...?

I bought a brand new Nikon Coolpix S510 four days ago, and ive hardly used it, ive never dropped it or damaged it or anything, but i turned it on this morning and the camera froze and the lens made a whirring sound. And the "lens Error" sign popped up and the lens was stuck and woulnt go back in. The battery was fully charged, and i looked it up, and a lot of nikon digital cameras have this fault. So i tried to fix it my hitting the cameras on its side a couple of times...and the lens when back in and now the cameras working fine again.... Will I notice an increase in audio performance with a headphone amp?

I use Bose QC 15 headphones (contrary to popular beliefe, they work fine and do an excellent job of cancelling noise), but I'm not entirely sure I will notice a huge increase in performance using a headphone amp on my laptop. I do notice that my iPad sounds worlds better than my laptop (and iPod touch for that matter) and would like to get that sort of performance from my laptop, but am not sure I will notice a significant increase in performance. When I looked into his cage this morning I noticed that there was some clear liquid all over the bottom of the cage. So today I had an appointment with my rheumatologist for my arthritis. When I was in there he pretty much called me a liar that I wasn’t having pain because my joints that I said were hurting didn’t have much swelling like they usually do and I can tell you I was I pain then and am still in pain now (he didn’t say you’re faking straight out but he intended it). I have been in constant pain ever since he stopped this treatment that we were doing before because they were steroids and they can damage your organs if you are on them for a long time. So he didn’t put me on anything new. But he said I had to get a blood test done. But he said he wanted it done at the hospital that we were at for the appointment so he could prove if I was faking or not pretty much. But he knew our insurance didn’t cover it there so it would coast my parents a lot of money. But my mom told him that our insurance didn’t cover it but then he pretty much said I don’t care. By now I was starting to cry a little bit because I was really mad and feeling a little guilty and he could see that but he kept going on and on. I was about to say something to him but I just kept quit. Then he finally gave up. So now I am really mad at him and I told my parents that I am not going back to him again and they are somewhat supportive of that but they think I was overacting a little bit. This wasn’t this first time he did something like this either. I mean no one calls me a faker about this or is disrespectful to my mother and gets away with it. So am I wrong to be this mad? When I try to use the Installation package (downloaded from pdp.com;I do not own the installation cd) but the driver says that it is incompatible with my version of windows. When I try to do the setup app, the adapter is not found. I tried to do the manual setup for vista and xp that found on various websites through google but it says to disconnect your wireless and plug the adapter in through the LAN. I am currently using a laptop connected wirelessly to a router (that is pword protected). After changing settings in IPv4, I try to connect to the IP address (192.168.1.99) in my web browser but the connection always times out. How am I supposed to connect to this IP address if I am not connected to the internet? I have tried connecting ethernet cords directly from my laptop to the adapter, one from the router to my laptop and another to the adapter from the router but I keep getting the same results (connection timed out). Workers Compensation vs. Private Insurance?

I had slipped on ice while at work on 2-1-11. Reported this to my employer directly after fall. Went to Employee health had x rays that same day and then they scheduled a follow up in two weeks. At the follow I stated my knee still had been bothering me. Employee health set me up for therapy. During this time I continued to perform full duty as a home health nurse. Knee had hurt this entire time always in the same place, applied ice and took Ibuprofin to help with this pain so I could continue to work. Sent for an MRI then a follow-up with a surgeon. Surgeon stated this was a congenital problem that that the fall had inflamed, he said he wanted to try therapy first then follow up with him in 6 weeks. Also gave me a brace for the instability of my patella. 3 weeks later at a wedding before the reception my patella dislocated. Went to er. Followed up with surgeon. He stated I need surgery now, considering this is the second dislocation and this one is worse, it will happen again. Workers Comp now wants to close my case because this happened at the wedding and not at work. Meanwhile I have always been under their care, still in therapy, wearing brace, still complaining of pain, swelling and numbness. Workers Comp never contacted my surgeon they only talked to HR and employee health. My question with this is what should I be doing? Is this still a WC case? Any suggestions on this case? Thank you!

My baja SC50 scooter is broken again. what's wrong?

after fixing a proplem with the CDI on my red (formerly pink) baja SC50 scooter, i am now facing a problem with the charging circut. when the engine is idling, i am reading exactly 2.7V from the terminals that hook up to the battery (normal right?). as i accelerate the engine, the voltage begins to drop, 2.6, 2.55, and so on untill it reaches about 2.4v. also, when the engine is idle ing and i pull the brakes so the tail light comes on, the voltage increases to 3v (shouldnt it drop? shouldent the voltage increase untill it reaches the optimal battery charging voltage?) the engine is fine. in fact, it riuns great! the head lights, dash lights, indicators, horn, etc. work when the engine is running. the dash lights are LED and the horn is peizo electric so the voltage must be DC even though the engine has an AC stator, so the rectifier must be working and the voltage is high enough to power the lights. is the batt. charging circut broken? is it shorting out? what part needs replacing?

i don't have much to say other than that you have a lot of single cards in the deck if you can eliminate the cards that are not major or get more major cards that will help put you in a winning position. too many single cards lowers chance that you will draw the cards you need in order to win but if you have multiple of the same cards (4 being max) your odds of drawing them increase. hope i helped a little iv been playing for several years now. you will need more cards.. with red there are several approaches direct damage with instants and sorcery and few creature cards. there is the speed approach where you play small creatures with haste.. etc those are a few red decks are often related to direct damage.

Anti-inflammatory meds, as they tend to develop artritis early- mild simple exercise to stay limber and believe it or not water therapy (swimming) worked good. I really think it helped her pain. She "hopped" like a bunny to walk.Understand- she also had a "deformed spine," as her tail was way over to the left and a host of other issues. If simple dysplasia- many larger breeds have it and do just fine.with simple therapy. And, take it from me- unless you plan on a total hip replacement-do not do the other "small fix" surgery if in fact it is dysplasia. Caused more pain short term and did nothing. Good luck to you and if the x-rays show a mild dysplasia-make the changes now- and it will really slow the progression.

So I bought a carbon fiber hood and got a good deal on it ...but the holes arent really working for the pins I bought. The bolts don't come out of the holes far enough. One I can try to find longer bolts at harware store, auto zone...if they make them? second, I could cover the holes with like mesh or aluminum mesh and drill new holes where they would work. It is a solid spruce acoustic, made in China...it is a Chinese take on a Gibson J-200 design...very pretty jumbo guitar. It won't stay in tune though...will it help if I buy a set of Grover tuners and put them on? Or is something going on with the neck to make it go out of tune like that?

Ford Expedition Rough Idle, loss of power?

I was tuning up my brother's 1998 4.6L Expedition because the check engine light was on. On cylinder number 7 the plug came out with rust, grime, and the deep area where the spark plug goes into was filled with oil. If you know this car, you know how wierd that is. Does this mean a bad cylinder. The tune up did not fix it it, but I have not done the EGR, PCV, or fuel filter yet. Anybody ever have this type of thing, and what did it mean? Thanks a ton...

You probably aren't going to like my answer but here it is. Initially I didn't experience any problems with my wisdom teeth but once they began hurting it only got worse!!! Even if they are willing to perform the surgery on you while you are pregnant what happens if you have bad morning sickness. I myself have thrown up the entire time of each and everyone of my pregnancies. I have had all four of my wisdom teeth removed and it hurts! You can't open your mouth very wide for days depending on how deep into the bone they have to cut. If you are getting morning sickness this isn't going to coincide well with having oral surgery. Also the anesthesia just knocks you out and for a couple days after the surgery you are just spent! It would be tough to deal with having a newborn. I had my teeth removed weeks after my daughter was born and I had to have my mother in law come and stay with us because it was agonizing taking care of the family. My advice to you is make the appointment, do whatever you have to do to get it taken care of then go back to TTC. I know your desire to have a baby, we tried for 5 years before having our first daughter. Just take these next few months to give yourself a break and regroup, get your teeth taken care and then jump back in the game. Hope things get better soon!

How to get rid of an itching backside?

For about a month now i've had a slight redness around my and it itches now and then. It's not painful, just feels like ive sat on a stinging nettle at times! I'm not bleeding, nothing unusual in other ways, it's just a small rash kind of thing. If you are a point guard, how important is it to run without the ball? (Suicides are pointless). That is the forward's job. How fast you run down the court with the basketball in your hand is the important thing. See how fast you can run down the court while dribbling the basketball. Left and right hands, behind your back, crossover, etc. If you can be the fastest guy with the ball, they will have to start you. Practice this 1 hour a day, and you will be the best. P.S. Keep your head up while dribbling so you can see the other players. I know too many hoopsters who are fast down the court but are looking down at their dribbling rather than at the open man, ridiculous.

US Army Special Forces: is making the cut more about physical prowess or sheer will?

I have been considering entering service in the military, and from the descriptions and information I've found, it seems like the special forces role is the one I'd be most interested in. I'm pretty good with language, and able to ess and yze situations pretty accurately, along with being able to memorize information easily, proven by my graduating high school with a 3.5 without ever really trying to hard. However, the only athletics I've ever participated in when in high school was cross-country running. Therefore I'm rather on the weak side, especially from a military perspective: 5'7" about 150 lbs. So I'm wondering which is the more important quality to bring into training: natural physical prowess or intellect and determination? It seems as though I'd be able to bulk up as long as I had the drive to get through the rigorous and numerous training courses required to make rank, but the mental ability has to be innate, right?

i had no breakfeast, a small lunch and went to sleep early. woke up around midnight and had like 2 handfuls of cheerios and fell back asleep. this morning i woke up and had 2 more handfuls of cheerios and took a hot shower. i came out feeling EXTREMELY shaky. my symptoms matched symptoms for hypoglycemia. I had nightmares all night long as well, i read this was one of the symptoms. I am not diabetic and had a fasting blood test done about 2 months ago and it came out fine. Could I be only slightly hypoglycemic? I am 22 years old, 125 lb. and 5 feet 4 inches if thats any info.

When I hook the phone up to my computer, everything works properly.I use windows media player. I sync them together and transfer music. but when I go to the phone, it has no music on it. But Windows media shows the music that I just put onto it. So I used Real Player and put the music on the phone through that, same outcome. So I made a separate folder and had to put all the music in that and I can then get to it on my phone. But thats not how its supposed to work. The only place the music shows up is under playlists. and the "all songs" menu is empty as well as artists and albums menu. It makes it diffucult to add and remove songs easily using only the playlist option. If anyone knows what the deal is, let me know please.
