Should I hire an ex-con for my small business?

I am not a business owner but I would check with my insurance company (and maybe a lawyer) regarding legal liability and insurance and if there were no issues that couldn't be resolved, I'd hire him. After all he didn't murder or anyone and is clean now. Everyone needs and deserves a second chance. It also sounds like he would be a benefit to your business.
