Will storing electronics in 120 degrees damage the item?

temps of 120 degree will soften plastics. but as long as the electronics is not running, softening the cases of capacitors, IC and transistors will not usually cause damage. however make sure that your CDs, DVDs and LPs are stored so they won't warp. be sure that all plastic items are shaded from direct sunlight, such as through an unblinded window.
