silver bromide.. The reactivity of halogens decreases down the group in periodic table. Thus,Bromine is more reactive than iodine. So, the ionic bond formed between silver and bromine is stronger compared to silver and iodine.. Therefore AgBr has a higher lattice energy than AgI
