What subjects should I pick for standard grades?

I am 13 and currently in second year, but I have to pick my school subjects for next year by March. Compulsory subjects are english, maths, PE, RME and PSE. I want to be a journalist when I've left school but I'm not sure what subjects to do and if there are any other things I can do to contribute to becoming a journalist. I would also like to travel the world so could being a journalist fit in with this? I would also like to to get into a fairly good uni like Edinburgh, Aberdeen or Glasgow. Any advice would be great :).
