How can I really follow in Jesus' footsteps?

Short answer, you can't... not in literal terms anyway. But you can follow Christ's lead and offer a bit of relief to those who suffer, or teach a lesson by the example of how you live and not by public speaking. Yes, it is dubious even to run into someone with Hanson's disease, but the scourge of HIV/AIDS, and cancer and MS or any number of things might be helped in some small way by something you do for someone suffering from one of these, even if it is to bring chicken soup to one exhausted by disease. You know, the man himself said it - you cannot pour new wine in old wineskins they will just burst. So do the old things in new ways, ones that befit your female body in the time in which you live.
