Hood pin question...what should i do ...?

So I bought a carbon fiber hood and got a good deal on it ...but the holes arent really working for the pins I bought. The bolts don't come out of the holes far enough. One I can try to find longer bolts at harware store, auto zone...if they make them? second, I could cover the holes with like mesh or aluminum mesh and drill new holes where they would work. Finally, I could cover up the holes with a vinyl logo and drill 2 new ones in a more workable spot. Let me know what you think. Thanks
