Should I go to PGA Q School even if I feel like I'm not quite ready. Cost $2500 entry. Get Experience? Wait?

I'm a professional golfer (scratch). I don't shoot under par regularly although I do make 4-6 birdies a round consistently (I'm working on improving my weaknesses). $2500 to sign up ... I feel like I'm close but not quite ready. Go for the experience and maybe catch lightening in a bottle? Keep the money and use it when I'm ready?
