Installing xp on acer aspire 5315 ??? Blank screen?

I tried to install xp on acer aspire 5315. The windows installation cd could not format the drive, so I formatted it with easeus partition magic. Then, I tried to install xp once more but when I try, I get a black screen with an underscore blinking after that all the files have been copied to my partion created by easeus partition boot cd. Is there a problem with my xp cd? Does it lack drivers?
