Which video editing programs can i use?

OK my question is what can i use for video editing programs that are like or similar to adobe premiere pro cs3. my computer wont run it because i dont have this extension on my processor so i wanna know what type of computer programs that allow to me to edit my vids smooth and nicely. i did use Sony Vegas movie studio 9 plat. edition but had way to many bugs. so i would like something like that because it did have some cool effects but never did render right and a Lil from premiere like the big timeline, the cut tool etc. so please list the programs and how much they may cost, or if they are free. dont care for neither. BTW make sure to see if it requires a CPU Extension SSE2, because that is what my processor doesn't have. thanx in advance. :)
