How do I trade for Pokemon such as Mew, Celebi, Arceus and other event Pokemon?

At the GTS I only get to trade Pokemon that I have on my Pokedex so how do I get those Pokemon on my Pokedex if they are only at certain events? I have HG and Plat, and if anyone is willing to trade me those Pokemon let me know.
